THE   WALK CONTINUES  - THIS TIME:  JAFFO TO TEL AVIV

THE TIME IS NOW! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

WE walk together.  WE:  Jews, Arabs and others, representing all walks of life join together in peace and walk silently in one powerful line.  The silence speaks.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2003 WE WALK AGAIN.

United by a simple white ribbon, we walk silently without posters or slogans.    Our message is brotherhood.  Our way is non -violence.

After Jaffo to Jerusalem, The Gallile, Waddi Ara, Tel Aviv, and Shfaraam our walks gain momentum.  We ease the pain of violence by supporting the human values of mutual respect. We nurture the possibility of another way.

TRANSPORTATION BY BUS will be provided to bring our partners from Shfaaram and Wadi Ara to THE WALK.

At the end we shall hold meaningful conversation’s in small groups.

THE WALK is a wake up call. To those of us who feel powerless to change the reality of violence, we now have a way! The longest journey begins with one small step.  We take many steps together as sons of Adam and Abraham.

As we walk, our hearts beat a common rhythm. Our smiles heal ancient wounds.

Is there an antidote to violence?  We believe: YES!

We meet at Park “Ha Shnaiim” the corner of Yeffet and Erlich in Jaffo. At 9:00 AM

We shall walk through the Flea Market to Salameh St., through Florentine to Neveh Tzedek.  We will proceed via Alenby St. to King George St. to Gan Meir.

At Gan Meir we shall do closing activities scheduled to finish at 2:00PM
